Nanjing Beautiful Countryside Architecture & Planning Research Co., ltd. (BCAPR or the Institute) is a mixed-ownership platform company jointly established by Nanjing Jiangning Tourism Industry Group co., Ltd. and Nanjing Darchieve Architecture Landscape Design Co., Ltd. It is an open comprehensive research platform with "rural revitalization" as the research object and a new national think tank with cooperation from all parties.

Established in May 2017, the Institute is mainly engaged in research and practice of rural revitalization policy and system, planning and design, development and construction, operation and management, and promotion and generalization. It provides the "rural revitalization” policy suggestions, decision-making consultation, personnel training, technical support, image promotion and other services. Meanwhile, it is building the talent pool for rural revitalization through the establishment of industry alliance, and development of cultural and creative products with local characteristics.

Since its establishment, the Institute has been deeply involved in various rural revitalization projects and completed more than 150 projects. Among them, Huanglongxian Tea Culture Village has been reported by CCTV News for three times, and has won honors such as "China’s most beautiful leisure village", "China’s model village for rural tourism", and the "National model village for improving rural living environment"; Xitian Rural Lifestyle Complex is rated as the first rural lifestyle complex in Jiangsu and even in China; Yunshuijian Cultural Exhibition Center is a diversified agricultural tourism and leisure resort integrating accommodation, catering, conference, leisure and cultural exhibition; Longxiang- Shuangfan boutique B & B village has won such honors as “Nanjing beautiful countryside demonstration village” and “characteristic village”. In addition, the Institute has also participated in the rural revitalization construction in Datong County, Qinghai Province, and Beidou village, Luonan, Shaanxi Province, carrying out practical exploration for the rural revitalization in western China and also contributing professional strength for the construction of western region.

The Institute has always been upholding the vision of "creating ideal countryside with creativity and design" and the company culture of “being ambitious and pragmatic, and striving for ideal countryside”. On the other hand, it adheres to the design concept of "building naturalization", and aims to realize "the unity of heaven and humans" through the organic integration of environment, economy and culture. Following the planning and design ideas of openness, inclusiveness and unbounded diversity, and combining international elements with local ones, it is implementing the integrated design of planning, building, landscape and decoration. With operation and management as the core of projects, the Institute strives to build a unique brand of excellence in the rural construction field.
